It all started with a health problem

And it's not just an idea or a desire. This is the struggle that the founder, Marvin Ndiaye, the iconic figure behind Fresheo, faced for many years..

At the age of 13, Marvin was immobilized by a health problem, which led to significant weight gain. After trying numerous diets unsuccessfully, he decided to take nutrition courses during his hospitality studies. He then adopted a healthy and varied diet, with the main objective of:lose weight without having to deprive yourself.

Thanks to this approach, he managed to lose nearly 50 kg without feeling frustrated. This transformation marked a turning point. He then decided to spend many hours in his mother's kitchen for his first culinary experiments:and that's how Fresheo was born.

Eat better to live better

Marvin then decided to share his experience to help a large number of people eat better to live better. All without frustration and without needing to be a chef. His idea was therefore simple: to allow everyone to select the dishes they want to eat for the coming week(s), have them delivered to their home, and thus save considerable time: Fresheo is cooked and delivered prepared. All that's left is to heat and enjoy!

Focus on fresh and local

The desire to help people learn to eat better was the starting point. But above all, it had to align with Marvin's values: offering healthy, balanced, and varied meals, all home-cooked with fresh and regional produce. Fresheo thus goes one step further than its competitors by prioritizing local products and short supply chains. For example, for its vegetables, it uses the wholesaler Van Dijk Foods, located right next to the Fresheo kitchens. As for meat, Marvin sources it from a neighbor as well: the butcher JJ Delvaux. It was therefore essential for Fresheo to prove that it was possible to offer such a concept on a large scale while cooking regionally and locally!

Committed to responsible practices, Fresheo also uses 100% recyclable boxes.

Different diets, different goals

And Fresheo doesn't stop there! Each week, nearly 16 different meals are offered, all tailored to different dietary habits: meat, fish, vegetarian, and fitness, so that everyone can find something suitable and meet their specific needs.

A nutritionist, our super Vali, also joined the team in 2023 to provide real oversight for the fitness meals: she ensures the nutritional balance of each meal, which is detailed by its caloric intake, with complete transparency on lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, and sugars.

Initially active only in Wallonia, Fresheo quickly grew to the point where the company also began offering its services in Flanders.

At Fresheo, every cell is important. With over 83 employees, everyone can find their place and every link is important. From chefs to sales representatives, including developers: everyone plays a crucial role in the smooth running of the company.

With over 10,000 meals delivered every week, it was also important for Fresheo to have its own delivery drivers at your disposal. With deliveries made between Saturday and Tuesday, they ensure a quality service right up to the reception of your order!

We pay extremely close attention to the origin of our ingredients. All of our suppliers are located within a 30 km radius of the kitchen, and we only choose fresh ingredients with no preservatives.

Simplified delivery

At Fresheo, we send you an SMS informing you of a short time slot on the Thursday preceding your delivery, and another SMS with the precise time on the day itself. No more deliveries for which you have to block off an entire day!
